Here you can find answers to common faults with your copier.

Paper constantly jamming

Open all doors and check to make sure no paper has been left in the machine particularly where you find the first sheet about to come out of the machine as their may be a small piece of paper stopping the progress of subsequent sheets. NOTE - be careful when removing jammed bits of paper so as not to damage any parts of the machine.

Add paper message

Open indicated paper tray on screen and load paper. Taking care not damage the paper whilst loading as this will cause jamming problems later on.

Add toner   message

Always make sure the toner being loaded is correct for that machine. All toner for different models varies slightly and can cause major problems if incorrect toner is used. Also all Genuine Canon toner will have directions on the side of the toner box showing the user on how to load toner into that specific machine. If you require any help contact us.

Error Message

If the machine comes up with any E*** codes, the machine may well ask you to turn the machine off and back on. Do try this as it can cure some faults. Also worth bearing in mind is that it is sometimes good practice to switch the machine off and un-plug the machine from the power socket and leave un-plugged for at least 30 seconds for any displayed errors. Switch the machine back on and see if the fault has gone, if not then contact us or your service representative as an engineer will be required to rectify the fault code.

Please note that the above is just a rough guide. Copyscan does not accept any responsibillity for any faults that may arise from following the above fault correction procedures.
